Booking & Payment
The stated base price applies per night for 2 guests. Each additional guest is charged €20 per night. Final cleaning is included in the price.
Children up to their 6th birthday stay free of charge.
Pets are welcome. A surcharge of €8 per pet per night applies. Please let us know at the time of booking.
Yes. The stated price applies to stays of at least 4 nights. For shorter stays, a surcharge of 10% per night will be added.
The holiday apartment is ready for check-in from 3:00 pm. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the apartment by 10:00 am.
In general, a minimum stay of 3 nights is required. In July and August, the minimum stay is 14 nights. Shorter stays are subject to a 10% surcharge.
The price includes accommodation, bed linen and towels, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, heating, water, electricity, Wi-Fi and final cleaning.
The local tourist tax is €3.30 per person per night. Children under 14 years of age are exempt upon presentation of valid ID.
In case of cancellation up to 4 weeks before arrival, 30% of the total amount will be charged. Up to 10 days before arrival, 50% will be charged. After that, 100% of the total amount is due.
This guest card is included in the price and allows you, among other things, to use all public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge.
Fresh organic milk and eggs from our farm are included in the price, subject to availability.
Accommodation Questions
The apartment was specially designed for wheelchair users – step-free, with an adapted kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom.
Yes, a washing machine and ironing facilities are available upon request.
Fresh bread and pastries from the Schuster bakery are delivered every morning (except Sundays) at around 8:30 a.m.
A baby cot, high chair and changing mat are available upon request.
General Questions
Lechtlhof is located at 1,400 metres above sea level above Mals, in the hamlet of Muntatsching on the Sonnenberg, with spectacular views over the Upper Vinschgau Valley. Despite its mountain location, the farm is easily accessible by car all year round; in case of snowfall, the access road is cleared daily.
Lechtlhof is a historic organic mountain farm with a centuries-old chapel and traditional forge. Surrounded by pure nature and tranquility, it offers a family-friendly atmosphere and authentic rural life – where tradition meets relaxation.

The apartment Malettes has been designed barrier-free according to KlimaHaus B standards – certified and awarded 5/5 smileys. The surroundings, entrance and bathroom are also wheelchair accessible.
Yes. In case of snowfall, the access road is cleared daily.
The nearest train stations are Schluderns and Mals.
Bus line 278 stops at “Abzweigung Muntetsching”; from there it is a 15–20 minute walk to the farm.
Yes, we offer a pick-up service from the train stations in Mals and Schluderns or from the bus stop “Abzweigung Muntetsching”.
Walks to Malettesboden, Matsch and Mals, as well as hikes to Spitzige Lun and circular tours along the Sonnensteig, start directly from the farm.
The newly created 360° Upper Vinschgau panoramic trail runs directly past the farm and features interactive stations as well as a large panoramic swing.
In winter, you can enjoy winter hiking, snowshoe tours, skiing, sledding and cross-country skiing. The nearby ski areas of Watles, Haideralm/Schöneben, Sulden and Trafoi are located between 17 and 33 km from Lechtlhof.
